Inking Basics 101 (& probably some 102 thrown in for good measure!)
New to inking? Never thought about inks outside of using them on a stamp? Have no idea what to do with all those pretty colors of inks pads you see everywhere? This workshop is for you! You asked us for it & here it is! Join us on February 11, 2023 from 10 am - 2:30 at LI Craft Stop, 49 Rider Avenue, Patchogue.
By popular request, we will spend a few hours learning the basics of inking - types of inks, paper to use, when to use which ink, & how to maximize your investment in ink pads will be the focus of this workshop. Denise will demo the techniques and you will have time to try them out & practice in class. There will be no cards made in this workshop, you will practice techniques to use as samples to recreate at home. Feel free to bring pen & paper to take notes or write notes directly on your sample, as this is a "learning, not making" workshop. It will be part lecture, part practice! This is the only "card class" this day, and we end in plenty of time for you to get home & changed for any pre-Valentine plans you may make for that night! The Stamping Basics 101 sold out in record time, and we were able to add more seats twice…but that likely won’t be the case with this one as inks can be difficult to get, colors sell out quickly even at distributors! If you are interested in learning these basics, sign up ASAP to get one of the 8 seats available!
Included in your workshop fee are a few basics you need to start inking PLUS a fun new tool to use as well: a Wendy Vecchi Art Stay-tion mat, several types of mini ink pads (you will use them all in the workshop), a brayer, a blending brush& all the paper you need to practice each technique. To keep the price of the Workshop the same as Stamping 101, you will be required to BYO silicone non-stick craft mat (there may be 2 or 3 at the store, purchase from LI Craft Stop ASAP to be guaranteed one for that day if you don’t already own one), baby wipes,& paper towels. You may opt to bring plastic gloves if you don’t want inky or stained hands. If you have a heat gun at home, you may want to BYO so you don’t have to wait in line to use the ones supplied for class. Feel free to bring a notebook & pen to take notes. This workshop will not have any follow-up YouTube videos.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
